I love creating! It makes me so happy when I get time to play with paper, print pictures, or even organize my craft room. I made these printables for all the makers out there! I am going to use them to document my creative space/current projects in my scrapbook.

You Got This FREE cards and cut outs
Hello! How are you doing? I'm guessing COVID-19 has affected you in some way. I am getting the hang of our new normal. My kids are online learning and homeschooling now. My husband is working from home. All our plans, church, and vacays are cancelled. But we are healthy, happy, and hopeful for the future. I decided to make some cheery cards and cut-outs to document this time in my life. The latest news report, the crazy toilet paper crisis, learning to be my kids' teacher and lunch lady. Being quarantined with those I love- and staying as positive as I can. Twenty-twenty is not what any of us expected it to be, but we are learning to roll with it. I wish you and yours the very best. Here are some free cards and cut-outs for you to document your life right now.
You got this!
Update: this new link will take you directly to my new shop- For Keeps Kits

Project life storage
I found this old metal file box at a thrift store. It's perfect for storing my Project Life cards.
I love it and am really glad I spent the 3 dollars. :)

real life
The April kit: Real Life is darling. Here is what I made with it:
Each month I took a picture of my baby with this frog. I printed 2 4x6 pictures and put them together to look like one big collage. How is my Crew already ONE?
Left Side
Right side
Here is the full spread with both sides. I LOVED the real life theme and captured photos of our home, front door, kitchen, and other photos of my kiddos. I made a whole process video on how I put this together. I bet you will enjoy it, click the video below.
In my travelers notebook I added another Real Life themed layout. It features lots of the stamps from the stamp set this month. To see more details of the stampset this month, click the video below.
The last project I made with this kit is this bunny shaped Easter mini book. Its filled with fun pictures from our Easter. To see inside, click video below.

flutterby
The Cocoa Daisy kit for March was so springy and fun. The butterflies were my favorite part. Here is a 12x12 made with my favorite papers from the kit. And that little yellow pom pom ribbon is so cute.
You know me, I love making banners!
Here is a pocket page with the cute Day in The Life kit. What goes better with pictures of my boys than a frog? I love it. And that fun sequins helped tie all the colors together.
Then I covered a travelers notebook with this paper. This paper is my favorite one in the kit. It is all my favorite colors.
Then I made my first layout in the book. With a kit called "flutterby," I knew I wanted to use my butterfly die cut punches. I made a whole process video on how I made this layout. See the link below!
The video
Here is my favorite card out of the whole kit. That RAINBOW! It is so springy and fun. It made a perfect journaling card for me to type on.
And here is a pocket page all about the spring weather we are loving!

Crew's Wild Rumpus
My baby turned ONE so we had a wild rumpus to celebrate our wild one. I love the Where the Wild Things Are theme since he is a wild little red head. He was born on leap day, but we celebrated his birthday on the 28th with a party on March 4th. These are the invitations:
I created the invitations and then I added the crowns on the envelopes. They are made with gold foil crinkle paper and fur from Hobby Lobby.
I made his crown from the same fur and gold glitter cardstock from Hobby Lobby. I love how it turned out.
That big number one is from his cake and was on a stick. I love using this pocket page with the 4 squares.
This one is a 12x12. I cut the crown out from a free printable I found on Pinterest. I used the printable as a party decoration. Then I added a photo strip, a big photo, and confetti.
I added the invitation and cupcake sticks to my layout.
I LOVE birthdays and our little wild one.
Tuesday
baby Crew layouts
Meet baby Crew. He was born on leap day and weighed 7 lbs exactly. He is the sweetest, cutest little man and we love him to pieces.
I loved scrapbooking his birth with him right by my side.
Documenting one of the best days of my life. Meeting baby Crew. I have a hard time finding words to journal on some pictures, because there truly are no words. Just lots and lots of love.
Another layout- including a collage. All of these photos were taken with my iPhone, and printed with my Canon Selphy printer. Leap day will forever be such a fun day now.

My Story By the Decade
I recently was a contributor for a fun workshop called My Story By the Decade. It was hosted by Retrohipmama and Kristymakes. It has allowed me to reach back in time to my childhood. I'm so glad I did this because it brought back so many memories. I had an awesome childhood. I am the youngest of 8 kids, and I have LOVED seeing the old family pictures. There were a few photos I had never seen before that my mom brought over for this project. The minute I saw these cards, I knew I just HAD to use that typewriter card and the jukebox one etc. Since I was born in 1984, it didn't exactly fit my era. So, I gathered old photos of my parents who got married in the 60s. It was so fun to add the cards to “their story.” My dad passed away not to long ago, and I adore seeing these pictures of him. I hope you are motivated to share your story. There is something really great about documenting your childhood as an adult, when you know what ended up being significant in your life. You can still buy Andrea and Kristy's cute cards and print them out for your "story." Head over to Andrea's blog to get the cards and see other contributors' projects.
A few tips:
-Add the date or year with a date stamper.
-I added some tickets, an old bingo card, and doilies to help with the feel of the era.
-All of my photos are simply photos taken of old photos using my iphone. Then I printed them so they were the right sizes for my pockets, and I still have all the originals.
-I often created a white border with a bigger bottom part to make it look like an old Polaroid.
-I used an actual old typewriter to add text here and there.
-I still have a few old toys of mine, so I took pictures of some favorites and added them in. For me, this really pulls the photos and toys together and absolutely takes me right back to 1991.
Thank you Andrea and Kristy! What an awesome, meaningful project.
