Monday

happy mail

I made and sent out more pocket pals last week. They are so much fun.

"Mass production" helps a lot when you have several to make.

Paint swatches and stamps make a fun card.

Outgoing happy mail.

Incoming happy mail goes in this binder.

Pocket letters

I just started doing pocket letters or pocket pals. It has been so fun. Using a baseball card page protector, you fill the 9 pockets with paper goodies, etc.. Then you fold it in 3rds and it fits in a standard envelope. Make sure you tell the Post Office to "hand cancel" and not use their sliding machine, or it will rip it open.

Here is my very first one- ready to ship!

I wrapped washi tape around these little wood veneer people and stuck them in the pockets.

Making little paper goodies to mail out is so much fun.

Tuesday

happy mail

We sent these little heart attacks to loved ones for Valentines day. I loved picturing my husband's 80 year old grandma opening it. Also, my nephew on a mission in PA.

How darling are these stamps?

This is our valentine making station. Each one of us has a valentine box, so we needed a little valentine making area. Its been really fun.

These are the cutest valentines! They are a 12x12 sheet from Pebbles. I used these for my valentine layout in my PL project, as well as to attach to gifts.

My boys LOVED their little valentine bags from us. Each of these cards fit each boy so perfectly.

I made this Valentine advent calendar from muslin bags from Michaels. All I had to do was add the number stickers, fill with surprises, and hang them up with clothes pins and bakers twine.  My kids have loved it. Here is Greyson, checking his "vowentine."

interactive christmas cards

I've been wanting to do an interactive card for a while now. This year, I did it! I designed my 5x7 cards, leaving a blank spot to be die cut out. I used a square punch and punched the hole in each card. Then I made a little pocket on the back to hold my photo strip in place. A little washi tape on the end of the strips, and voila- it pulls through.

These took a little more time than usual Christmas cards, but they were so fun to make, and we got a lot of fun compliments from our friends and family.

And how about those darling stamps? I LOVE those stamps.

Mailing them off is always the best part. I think Christmas cards is one of my TOP favorites during the holiday season. Its so fun to send some cheer to friends and family.

And this is how I displayed my cards this year.
