Be Mine

I love Valentine's day.  Here's a traditional 12x12 layout I made with cute paper from Crate Paper. I added a little of that minty color, and love how it goes with the red and pink.

This pocket page is my "go-to" configuration. It's by Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby. I love how versatile it is. I loved documenting my cute boys on Valentine's Day.

Paper: Crate Paper
"Happiness Lives Here" quote: Liz Tamanaha

And one more layout for the other side of this pocket page.

"Love you more every day" card: FifteenAcres
Hearts: Crate Paper

Thanks for checking it out! Hope you had a fun Valentine's Day with your loved ones.

Hey Pumpkin Pocket Pages

I made 2 pocket pages with Crate Paper's Hey Pumpkin line. This post is the 2nd of 3 posts with all the fun things I made with this collection.

The 3x4 cards (which are cut out of a 12x12 paper) are perfect for making a pocket page. I especially love how they incorporated pink and mint into this collection.

The little houses were perfect to document trick or treating. I loved making these pages!

Sunday

hello holidays

The November Cocoa Daisy kit was full of cute holiday themed products. It was so fun to make these projects:

First I made an interactive advent layout. I will leave it out as decor for the month of December and add a little something under the flap each day. When I am done, it will slide into a sheet protector in my album.

Here is a process video on how to make one:

Here is a layout featuring a recent visit to the family cabin.

I made a some frayed cards and tags. I used regular scissors and just cut lots of slits.

For this one, I used one of my kids' pokemon card holders to make 9 pockets. Those gold stars made the cutest shaker pocket.

Project life storage

I found this old metal file box at a thrift store. It's perfect for storing my Project Life cards.

I love it and am really glad I spent the 3 dollars. :)

Thursday

i heart october

I am so excited to share my October projects made with the Cocoa Daisy kit.

I made this 12x12 layout with the cute paper from Pink Paislee's Turn the Page collection. The sweet sentiments in the background were perfect for our new family pictures. I also added some splashes of water color.

Here is a close up. Gosh I love water color!

Here is a smaller pocket page. I love the card with the "caption" spot. I added the cute pink HELLO stickers. This kit had lots of cute succulents.

This layout turned out to be my FAVORITE one. Those cute little birds inspired me to use the darling alpha stamps to write "Our Flock." I fussy cut the birds out of a sheet of 12x12 paper. (Also from Pink Paislee).

Here is how I typed my journaling. Then I cut each line into strips and glued them on.

I tattered the edges of each layer a little to add dimension.
Here is the process video I made for this layout.

And lastly, here is a pocket page I made showing our day at the pumpkin patch. The love the mint color with the traditional orange.

Thanks for checking out my October projects!

Wednesday

south beach

The first week of May we went to San Diego and Long Beach, California. This kit came at the perfect time to document the trip. It was such a memorable trip with my husband and 3 little boys.

The ocean is so fun with these wild boys.

Sea World was AMAZING! We all loved it.

I made this little journaling card with bits and pieces of my favorite papers.

We spent most of our time at Huntington Beach.

Here is a page from my travelers notebook. I will do a whole other blog post about my notebook.

I also made this layout of my sister and I.

For lots of details and tips, watch the process video below.

Also, I made an unboxing video this month where I show all the goodies in the Cocoa Daisy box. See below:

Sunday

easter

We had a great Easter! Look at my cute little bunnies. Soon my oldest will be too old for the bunny ears. But until then...

Using a mix of Simple Stories and Liz Tamanaha Papers, I made this fun spread.

That carrot!
