I just started doing pocket letters or pocket pals. It has been so fun. Using a baseball card page protector, you fill the 9 pockets with paper goodies, etc.. Then you fold it in 3rds and it fits in a standard envelope. Make sure you tell the Post Office to "hand cancel" and not use their sliding machine, or it will rip it open.
Here is my very first one- ready to ship!
I wrapped washi tape around these little wood veneer people and stuck them in the pockets.
Making little paper goodies to mail out is so much fun.
